強磁性絶縁体中で観測されたスピンゼーベック効果に対する理論解析を紹介する。特に、磁化のダイナミクスを表すLandau-Lifshitz-Gilbert方程式を数値的に解くことで、温度勾配によって流れるスピン波スピン流と、逆スピンホール効果を用いた観測量について言及する。

We investigate the real-time dynamics under time-depending electric fields in a one-dimensional orbital degenerate Hubbard model, using a time-dependent density matrix renormalization group method. Considering a chain along the 
direction with 
-orbital degrees of freedom on each site, electrons preferably occupy itinerant 
orbitals rather than localized 
orbitals to gain kinetic energy. Thus, in the ground state at quarter filling, orbital is singly occupied, while the spin state exhibits antiferromagnetic correlations for small Hund's rule coupling. After the oscillating electric field is turned on, holon-doublon pairs are introduced when the frequency of the applied electric field exceeds a charge excitation gap. During the time evolution, the ferro-orbital state is deformed due to the pair-hopping interaction that is characteristic of multi-orbital systems.

Fe
/Pt複合薄膜細線におけるスピン波共鳴を逆スピンホール効果(ISHE)を用いて調べる。NiFe層におけるスピン波は、スピンポンピング(磁化運動によるスピン流生成)を誘起し、発生したスピン流はPt層におけるISHEにより電流に変換される。スピン流の流れの向き、及びスピン偏極方向とともに直交する方向に起電力の発生を確認した。この起電力をランダウ・リフシッツ・ギルバート方程式とスピンポンピングの理論を組合せたモデルにより解析する。解析の結果、起電力の大きさはスピン波の吸収強度に比例していることがわかった。これにより、ナノ構造磁性体におけるスピン波共鳴の電気的な測定が可能であることが明らかになった。
